Junior Desktop Support Technician

Primary Responsibilities

  •  Troubleshoot and resolve various hardware and software issues
  •  Assist in movement and set up of hardware
  •  Answer emails and phone calls in a timely manner
  •  Assist with printer and photocopier set-up and configuration, and desktop hardware.
  •  Offer support with smartphones (Blackberry and Samsung) and applications


  •  College degree in computer science or similar
  •  Thorough understanding of MS-Office, Windows 7, Active Directory
  •  Experience with LAN/WAN Technologies, Networking Protocols - TCP/IP, desktop imaging and    servers (Windows 2008/2012), desktop hardware and printers
  •  Experience supporting smartphones
  •  Have strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  •  Be customer service oriented and have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  •  Able to work independently and in a team environment
  •  Commitment to travel as needed;
  •  Experience with Citrix is considered an asset
